Salsa
Cranberry-Pear Salsa
1 (12 ounce) package cranberries
2 ½ pears
½ green bell pepper
1 serrano pepper, seeded
2 tablespoons orange zest (thinnest colored part of peel only)
Juice of ½ orange
3 tablespoons canola oil
¼ cup honey
½ cup sugar
Coarsely chop cranberries, pears, bell pepper and Serrano pepper separately in a food processor and combine in a large bowl. Add orange zest, orange juice, canola oil, honey and sugar and toss to coat.
Serve with turkey or with tortilla chips on the side. Makes about 4 cups.
